Flying Insect Control System
The basic principals of flying insect control are sanitation, exclusion, non-chemical control and chemical control measures. We will conduct through surveys and tailor the management program to fit each specific situation. Our range of Luminos and Vector Plasma electronic insect control units come in different sizes to suit the requirements of all customer types – from critical hygiene food processors to cafes and corner shops. Flying insects are able to contaminate food and products at any stage that they are exposed, from tipping of raw materials to packaging of the final product – and the last thing we want to see is an insect in our product or purchase.
Insects are drawn by Ultraviolet light and then trapped on an adhesive film. Unlike conventional devices that simply zap flying insects creating potential contamination of the adjacent environment, the Luminos and Vector units clean up after themselves. There’s no catch tray, no fuss, no mess and no more problem.
Additional benefits include the ability to accurately identify the trapped insects and count catch numbers. There are also no high voltages, which are present with the traditional ‘zapping’ units.
